Boys

Congratulations to the boys’ track team for their 6^th place finish this past weekend at the outdoor state championships.  Junior Shemar Welch picked up a pair of runnerup finishes in the triple jump and high jump jumping 46-10 and 6-6 respectively.  He also finished 5^th in the long jump with a season best of 22-3.   Senior Anthony Eager also picked up a pair of runnerup finishes in the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles running season bests of  14.03 and 38.60. Anthony also finished 5^th in the triple jump.    In the pole vault, seniors Brooks Gibson and Heath Whigham finished 4^th and 5^th with vaults of 14-6 and 14-0 respectively.   Heath also finished 9^th in the 110 hurdles and 12^th in the 300 hurdles.
