The girls competed at the MLK invitational over the MLK holiday. Abbery Ferlise and Lizzie Porr started out the day with a 1-2 finish in the 800 meters running a 2:18 and a 2:21 respectively. Both girls would get back on the podium an hour later with a runner up finish in the 4 x 400 relay that also consisted of Grace Salmon and Anna Adams. Anna Adams also finished runner up in the mile with a 5:14 finish. Teammate Elizabeth Porr finished 7th in the mile.
Anthony Eager continues his phenomenal indoor season. He won the 60m in a new PR of 6.83. He has yet to be beat in the 60m this indoor season. The South Alabama football commit is still chasing after his first Indoor State Title but it's safe to say he is the favorite going into the last 3 weeks of the season. To go along with the 60m, he finished second in the 60m Hurdles in 8.14. He was fourth in the long jump in 21-04 and fifth in the triple jump in 44-04.
Brooks Gibson and Heath Whigham asserted their dominance in the 6A pole vault by claiming the top two positions in 6A this season with a 14-6 and 13-6 vault respectively.
William Porr scored a runnerup finish in the 3200 while moving into the top 8 ranking for 6A.
Porr also lead the boys 4 x 800 relay to an 8th place finish. Filling out the relay were Cunningham Copeland, Jack Mccarron, and Connor Bishop.
